Please Note: This Event will be hybrid and you can switch from In-Person to Zoom if you need to. Just Contact our Coordinator, Ashley Egan at Info@uulmmd.org so we can make adjustments UULM-MD is pleased to announce that Delegate Eric Luedtke will be our Keynote Speaker at the 2023 UULM-MD Kick Off on January 21st! Who better to help us understand the legislative landscape than the man recently recruited by Governor-Elect Wes Moore to serve as his Chief Legislative Officer?
A former teacher, Delegate Luedtke has been a fierce ally on Marriage Equality, Climate Change and many of our issues. Delegate Luedtke has represented Montgomery County’s District 14 for twelve years and is currently serving as Majority Leader in the Maryland House of Delegates.

Covid Mitigation Strategy:
The sanctuary has UV sterilization units that shine into the upper unoccupied portion of the Sanctuary. People are not exposed to UV light. These units are widely used in medical facilities. The units prevent the general accumulation of airborne viruses but are not effective against a person next to you directly exhaling in your direction. Masks are needed to combat that hazard.
Classrooms are equipped with portable HEPA filter units. These units need to be turned on during the period that the room is occupied. These also clean the air, although not as well as the UV system does, and also can’t protect against someone exhaling Covid particles right at you. Meetings in classrooms are mask-optional. Groups can decide to do masking for all or masking decisions can be left to the
individual.
